Welcome! I'm a researcher and lecturer at the intersection of anthropology, psychology, and the evolutionary sciences--undisciplined, but in a good way. I focus on human social emotions, including their evolutionary origins and cultural manifestations, to understand human social relationships and community dynamics. I have a regional focus in the Pacific, where I conduct ongoing fieldwork among villagers in Yasawa, Fiji.
