Welcome! I'm an evolutionary anthropologist interested in psychology. I study human social emotions--their evolutionary origins, their functional structure, and their variation across individuals and populations--as these pattern human social relationships and social network dynamics, including sharing, punishment, and cultural learning. I have a regional focus in the Pacific, where I conduct ongoing fieldwork among villagers in Yasawa, Fiji.
